Description

Interior Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii var glauca) also known as Rocky Mountain Douglas-fir grows across a variety of habitats in the interior of British Columbia, Canada. It has a smooth grey-brown bark with resin-filled blisters when young which becomes very thick and deeply grooved with dark reddish-brown ridges with age. Interior Douglas-fir trees can grow to 42 meters tall.
